C95800 Seawater 3 way ball valve adopts  C95800 nickel aluminum bronze (ASTM B148 standard) as the primary material for valve body and ball. C95800 Seawater 3 way ball valve is customized for severe corrosive working conditions such as seawater, high chloride brine, weak acid & alkali, and sulfur-containing media, it has two mainstream flow path configurations: Type L (flow switching) and Type T (diversion, confluence & mixing). With 90-degree quarter-turn operation, it controls the cut-off, flow direction switching, diversion and confluence of three pipeline branches. C95800 Seawater 3 way ball valve  is widely used as a superior alternative to ordinary brass and stainless steel 3-way valves for marine, seawater desalination and offshore platforms with heavy corrosion risks.

C95800 Seawater way ball valve advantage

1.C95800 is a high-strength corrosion-resistant nickel aluminum bronze, equivalent to Chinese standard ZCuAl9Fe4Ni4Mn2. It contains 8.5%–11% aluminum, 4%–6% nickel and 3.5%–4.5% iron, delivering comprehensive performance far superior to conventional copper alloys and 304 stainless steel:

  1. 2.Outstanding seawater corrosion resistance: A dense aluminum oxide passivation film forms on the surface to resist chloride pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, cavitation and erosion, with no rust or dezincification after long-term seawater immersion.
  2. 3.High strength & wear resistance: Refined grain structure delivers high tensile strength and hardness. The ball and seat resist scratching during frequent opening/closing, with a service life over 3 times that of regular bronze valves.
  3. Resistance to sulfide stress cracking: Compatible with sulfur-containing crude oil and weakly acidic chemical media, free from stress corrosion cracking.
  4. 4.Non-sparking & explosion-proof: No sparks generated from metal friction, suitable for flammable and explosive pipelines on ships and oil & gas facilities.
  5. Excellent sealing castability: Dense casting structure without blowholes, stable pressure sealing performance for long-term leak-tight service under high seawater pressure.
C95800 Seawater 3 way ball valve Structure & Working Principle

1.Valve Body Structure

The integrally cast UNS C95800 valve body supports flange, threaded and welded end connections. Available in one-piece or three-piece designs for easy disassembly and maintenance. The stem is equipped with an anti-blowout safety structure to prevent medium leakage.

2.Two Types of Ball Flow Paths

  • Type L Ball: Right-angle channel only connects two orthogonal pipelines for flow switching (e.g., switching between primary/standby seawater pipelines, alternating cooling circuits); simultaneous communication of all three ports is not achievable.
  • Type T Ball: Three-way through channel enables single-inlet dual-outlet diversion, dual-inlet single-outlet confluence and three-medium mixing, ideal for heat exchange, chemical dosing mixing and multi-branch distribution processes.

3.Sealing & Actuation

Valve seats use seawater-resistant soft seals including PTFE, RPTFE and PEEK for zero-leakage performance. Actuation options include manual lever, electric actuator and pneumatic actuator for remote automatic control. It requires only a quarter turn to fully open/close with minimal fluid resistance.
