The tank bottom ball valve body is designed with the inclined valve stem, and the valve stem presents a 105° inclination Angle in the valve body pipe. This structural design avoids the contact between the installation actuator and the tank bottom.No accumulative material design, the spherical surface design, when the valve is closed, the spherical arc at the bottom of the tank arc flange to maintain, forming a no dead Angle connection, to avoid substance residue.

Tank bottom ball valve working principle

The tank bottom ball valve is mainly used for opening and cutting materials at the bottom of the tank. At present, in the chemical industry, medicine and other fields, bottom feeding valve is the key equipment of the reactor, which is required to be fully fitted to the inner wall of the reactor. The materials in the reactor must be fully reacted without any material stored.When the discharge valve at the bottom of the tank is cut off, ensure that there is no leakage of materials, so as not to adequately react the materials into the next process.The new type of tank bottom ball valve is mainly used in this special condition. At present, the common on-off ball valve on the market cannot fit the inner wall of the reactor due to the limitation of its structure, and has the disadvantages such as large dead Angle and poor sealing performance, which cannot meet the special requirements of bottom feeding and discharging of the reactor.
 

Tank bottom ball valve feature

1. 2. The main body and the auxiliary body of the tank bottom ball valve are symmetrically provided with seats, and the seats are provided with a curved face that matches the valve core and seals.
3. The main tank bottom ball valve body is also provided with a discharge port, which is opposite to the feed port.
4. The middle of the tank bottom ball valve core is provided with a discharging hole, which forms a discharging channel with the feeding port and discharging port vertically. The side of the valve core is connected with a valve stem, which is set horizontally, and the end of the tank bottom valve stem is connected with a hand handle or an actuator.

Tank bottom ball valve installation

1. First confirm the size of the arc flange and the connection part at the bottom of the tank. After confirming that the size is completely consistent, weld the arc flange at the bottom of the tank.
2. Screw the connecting bolts on the curved flange.
3. Insert the seal into the groove of the bonnet plane.
4. Insert the flange bolt hole in line with the bolt after selecting the correct driving position of the valve
5. Make sure that the arc flange outer circle is aligned with the tank bottom ball valve cover, and screw the nut accordingly until the arc flange and the tank bottom ball valve cover are flat to complete the installation
